Emma is the tutor sorting word cards with a Year 2 student at the oval table in the film, still the person most families meet first. She taught English and literacy support in western Sydney high schools for eleven years before opening Lennox Bridge, and still runs most of the youngest students' sessions herself, because she thinks the person who designed the reading program should be the one running it with a six year old.

Marcus Chen

Senior Tutor, HSC Mathematics and Physics

Marcus is the tutor in the second film explaining a problem with three coloured blocks before handing the whiteboard marker across. He left a structural engineering job to teach senior maths and physics, and works mostly with Year 11 and 12 students in the run up to trial and HSC exams. He keeps a spreadsheet of every past paper question he has used so a student never gets the same one twice by accident.

Priya Nadesan

Mathematics Tutor, Years 3 to 10

Bachelor of Mathematics and Bachelor of Education (Secondary). Accredited teacher with the NSW Education Standards Authority. Current NSW Working With Children Check.

Priya teaches mathematics from Year 3 through Year 10, including the geometry and problem solving sessions that fill most of a Tuesday afternoon. She taught at a selective school in the inner west before deciding she preferred a room with four students in it to one with thirty, and wrote the ruler and grid method most of our younger students learn geometry from.

Amir Haddad

Science Tutor, Years 7 to 12

Bachelor of Science (Physics) and Graduate Diploma of Education. Current NSW Working With Children Check. First aid certificate.

Amir built the science stream in 2022 after enough parents asked whether Lennox Bridge did anything beyond maths and English. He runs the Years 7 to 12 science sessions, including the low voltage circuit kit every student builds and pulls apart themselves rather than watching a demonstration, and writes the practical component of each term's science program.

Grace Bellamy

Bookings and Enrolments

Certificate III in Business Administration. Current NSW Working With Children Check.

Grace runs bookings, term enrolments and the progress note system, and is usually the first voice a new family hears on the phone. She joined Lennox Bridge in 2021 and can tell you which Tuesday slots are actually free without checking, because she built the timetable.
